Logo Design: The Process

Designing a logo can be an intense process. It involves working closely with the client to achieve the exact image the person or company wants to project. Color, type style, type of use, and design elements are all factors that must be considered.

The logos at left are four initial variations for a blog that will be on www.wisconsinnative.com. This logo presents an extra challenge in that it must be consistent with the Wisconsin Native logo and maintain the look and feel of the existing Web site--while also being able to present a strong stand-alone graphic.

Direct Mail Brochure Design: Hospice Memory Tree Ornament Mailer

Each year, Hospice of Marion County offers a holiday ornament. This is a very special year for Hospice of Marion County, as they are celebrating their 25th Anniversary of service. The butterfly (which is their logo) is the symbol of hope, beauty and transformation. This 2.5" pewter ornament symbolizes a quarter of a century of compassionate comfort care.

The brochure crafted by Megadesign features a silver motif to maintain the 25th anniversary theme and showcases the pewter butterfly ornament. It also has a detachable order form and envelope for easy ordering.

USA Book News Announces Winners
Congratulations to Atlantic Publishing for being a finalist in the National Best Books 2008 Awards! The title Outdoor Glamour Photography: The Complete Digital Guide to Taking Successful Outdoor Glamour Photographs took the honors in the Photography: Instructional/How-To category.
