Winners and Finalists of the 2010 Next Generation Indie Book Awards Announced

Atlantic Publishing entered the 2010 Next Generation Indie Book Awards (the "Indie Book Awards"). Small presses, mid-size independent publishers, university presses, e-book publishers, and self-published authors with books written in English released with a 2009 or 2010 copyright date were able to enter multiple books in 60-some categories. Atlantic Publishing entered five books in five categories and won or was a finalist in every category. Of those five books, I did the cover design on three books and the complete cover and interior design on Light, Shadow & Skin Tone: The Complete Guide to Shooting Black & White Glamour Photography Both Digitally and on Film by Bill Lemon.

LOGO DESIGN: Jessie Construction

I recently completed a logo for a new business: Jessie Construction. I worked closely with the owner, Jared Jessie, of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, to create a logo that visually represents the company and would be versatile enough to use for everything from vehicle lettering to business cards.

NEWSLETTER DESIGN: Sharing Spring 2010

Since 2007, I have worked with the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration (FSPA) on their seasonal newsletter. I am provided with the photos and a Word document with the articles. I work closely with the FSPA Membership Office to craft an informative and inspirational newsletter.
